Fox Sports South Florida & “Game Changers”

The Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce brought together community and industry leaders for “Game Changers,” a dynamic panel discussion exploring the growing impact of sports tourism on Palm Beach North. Fox Sports South Florida (WMEN) was delighted to sponsor the event, supporting the Chamber’s efforts to highlight how the region is emerging as a premier national sports destination.

The conversation focused on how competition, innovation, and world-class sporting events are fueling economic growth, enhancing hospitality, and strengthening community connections across the area. Panelists shared insights into how strategic investments and forward-thinking leadership are helping shape the future of sports-driven development in Palm Beach North.

The panel featured Andrew George, SVP of Live Event Experience at TMRW Sports, who spoke about redefining fan engagement through immersive, tech-driven sporting experiences, including the groundbreaking TGL league. Mike Bauer, General Manager of Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium, provided perspective on operating one of the country’s busiest baseball complexes and transforming venues into year-round community destinations. George Linley, Executive Director of the Palm Beach County Sports Commission, highlighted the region’s remarkable growth, including hosting over 200 events annually and generating hundreds of millions in visitor spending.

The discussion was moderated by Ricardo Gonzalez III of REG Architects, who guided a lively and insightful exchange on the intersection of sports, tourism, and regional development. Together, the panel underscored how Palm Beach North is leveraging sports as a catalyst for innovation, economic impact, and community pride.
