Hubbard Helps: Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County CEO Build
Hubbard Radio West Palm Beach stations, Sunny 107.9 & 850 WFTL, are proud sponsors and participants in the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County (HFHGPBC) annual CEO Build on September 21 and 22, 2023, in Lake Worth Beach, Florida.
CEO Build is an annual fundraising and home-building event that brings local executives and leaders together to partner with Habitat for Humanity and help local families build a path to a better life through affordable homeownership. Participants are encouraged to put their leadership into action by rolling up their sleeves and picking up construction tools to literally build a home and hope alongside families in need. In addition to creating a tangible and lasting impact in the community, the event provides a unique networking opportunity for the CEOs, high brand visibility, and concrete opportunities for employee engagement.
During the two-day event, executives commit to a fundraising goal, select a half-day shift, build alongside Habitat families, learn construction skills, and create new connections among peers and the community. No construction experience is required to participate.
The Co-Chairs of the 2023 event are Kenneth Lebersfeld, CEO of Capitol Lighting and Jean-Paul Renard, CEO of SourceNow, and the Honorary Chairs are Angelo Bianco, Managing Partner of CP Group, and Jesse Rack, Vice President of Rack Electric.
The 2023 Co-Chairs are excited and honored to be a part of this year’s CEO Build, and both will be supporting and participating in the two-day event. Jean-Paul Renard, CEO of SourceNow, was drawn to the mission of Habitat as it aligns with his core values. “Having a home means safety, love, family, protection, and the necessity to grow. What could be more important than having a home.” Kenneth Lebersfeld, CEO of Capital Lighting, has supported the organization for the last six years and notes, “It is a privilege to be a part of this opportunity and build next to fellow CEOs and the Habitat family.”
