Tim & Chelsea Help Fight Breast Cancer

RAMP for Tuesday, November 4, 2025

Morning duo Tim Leary and Chelsea Taylor of Hubbard’s WIRK (New Country 103.1)/West Palm Beach were excited to welcome the MammoVan to the station for the third year, so local women could make an appointment, come by and get their mammogram screening done for free! By day’s end, 25 women arrived from all over the community, (some traveling up to an hour away), to get their free screenings.

“Early detection is so important, and this gives women in our area who otherwise couldn’t afford it a chance to get their mammogram,” said Taylor. “We’re so blessed to be able to do this for a third year.”

Leary added, “Women are coming here to get their mammogram for the first time. Friends made simultaneous appointments so they could do it together. It’s so incredible to have the chance to do this. The MammoVan truly saves lives.”

The Kathryn Krickstein Pressel MammoVan was founded by LPGA golfer Morgan Pressel in memory of her mother, Kathryn, who succumbed to breast cancer in 2003 to improve early detection by providing accessible screening.

Local organization PinkBall funds mammograms for uninsured and underinsured women in the community, and has screened more than 1,600 women and has helped with 3,200+ procedures.
