KVJ Volunteer Army Unites Community for Successful Road Clean-Up in Lake Worth

On Saturday, February 7th, community spirit shone bright as local residents joined 97.9 WRMF, The KVJ Show, and Bluebird Kids Health for a highly successful KVJ Volunteer Army Road Clean-Up. The event took place along the WRMF & KVJ Show’s Adopt-A-Highway section on Military Trail, where volunteers dedicated two powerful hours to making South Florida a cleaner, safer place to live.

Armed with gloves, grabbers, and plenty of enthusiasm, the “community warriors” collected debris, removed litter, and restored the scenic stretch of roadway. Their efforts not only improved the appearance of the area but also helped protect local wildlife and reduce environmental hazards.

“We’re constantly amazed by how many people show up ready to make a difference,” said organizers from the KVJ Volunteer Army. “In just two hours, this team helped create real, positive impact for our community.”

The cleanup supports long-term environmental preservation while boosting community pride—core values shared by WRMF, Bluebird Kids Health, and the Volunteer Army.

More volunteer missions will be announced soon as the KVJ Volunteer Army continues its commitment to creating a better South Florida, one project at a time.
