Behind the Mic Magic: Homeschool Co‑op Gets the Inside Scoop
Hubbard Radio West Palm Beach welcomed a group of local homeschool students and parents on Friday, January 23rd for a behind‑the‑scenes tour of our stations.
The visit began inside the studios of 97.9 WRMF’s The KVJ Show and New Country 103.1’s Tim & Chelsea, where the group watched the energy of live morning radio in action. From timing and technology to teamwork and creativity, students got a real feel for what it takes to keep a show running smoothly.
Afterward, the tour moved through the building for a look at the departments that bring radio to life—Programming, Sales, Production, Promotions, and Digital. Each team shared how they help shape our brands, connect with listeners, and support the community.
The students left with a clearer picture of how many different skills and careers are involved in modern media—not just on the mic, but behind the scenes as well.
