97.9 WRMF’s The KVJ Show Adopts A Highway
97.9 WRMF & The KVJ Show are excited to announce a new partnership with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) & the Adopt-A-Highway program.
97.9 WRMF & The KVJ Show are very involved in the community and want to rally local volunteers to reach out and help those in need. Their mission was to build a large volunteer base to produce a positive change in our community with the KVJ Volunteer Army, which started in 2019.
The KVJ Volunteer Army has cleaned South Florida beaches, built houses with Habitat for Humanity, planted trees with Community Greening, delivered brown-bagged lunches to the homeless, participated in food distribution events, and more.
The KVJ Show’s Kevin Rolston says, “The KVJ Show has called the Palm Beaches home for nearly 25 years. We take great pride in our community and share the desire with our audience to keep our home as pristine as possible. We take great pleasure in being able to be a part of keeping the Palm Beaches beautiful.”
The Adopt-A-Highway program gives the KVJ Volunteer Army opportunities to keep our streets litter-free with quarterly clean-ups over the next 48 months.
